With this rafting incentive activity in the Basque Country, SOP Events invites you to discover the natural riches of the Pyrenees-Atlantiques. Take off into the heart of nature for a team building activity with rafting, rock jumping, in-line racing, jousting and rapids!
The raft is a stable and easy-to-handle boat that will allow you to discover the pleasures of white water without risk or preparation. A fun activity with a change of scenery, full of sensations.
Details of your rafting incentive
Rafting is an activity that aims to navigate rivers made up of rapids on board an inflatable boat, with 6 or more places (raft), 2/3 places (hotdog or canoraft) and one place (Airboat).
- Meet at the base (50 min from Biarritz).
- The team welcomes participants with a welcome coffee (coffee, tea, Basque shortbread cookies).
- Presentation and handover of equipment and safety instructions.
- Departure by minibus to the starting point for the launch.
- Briefing (navigation techniques and safety instructions).
- Start of the activity, boarding and launching of the rafts for a rafting trip lasting around 1h30.
- Entertainment during your rafting trip (races, jousting, desalination).
- End of activity.
- Back to base.
- For the duration of your activity, you will be accompanied by a low-water guide.
Your rafting trip:
You'll be rafting down a beautiful river in the inner Basque country, which flows through the provinces of Basse Navarre and Labourd. The descent includes a variety of activities such as rock jumping, line racing, jousting and rapids. A cocktail of good humor during a 1h30 descent supervised by qualified instructors.
Loan of rafting-specific equipment: raft, paddle, lifejacket, helmet, wetsuit and neoprene boots.
Equipment to bring: swimsuit, pair of sneakers, towel and eyeglass cord.
