Team building Invictus Games
Inspired by the Invictus Games, a multi-sport competition for wounded and disabled soldiers and war veterans, discover our new Invictus Games team building activity. You'll be able to test your mettle in 12 different events, either on your own or as part of a team, and put yourself in the shoes of the soldiers who valiantly defended their countries.
Your Invictus Games team building
Divided into teams, participants will meet 12 different challenges. These challenges will put the individual in difficulty, by depriving him of a physical capacity (sight, touch, mobility...).
The collective will then take over so that the challenges can be won. Complementarity within the teams will be key, and will need to be organized and reorganized throughout the event.
Invictus Games team building programme
- Welcome and explanation of the scenario.
- Distribution of teams & handing over of scarves.
- Consultation to find a team name and a battle cry.
- Start of the tests.
- The facilitator follows & referees the teams until the fin.
- Final and prize-giving ceremony.
Invictus Games team building events
Surprise tasting: Without seeing the contents, taste and finish a plate in 1st place, without touching it with your hands.
Archery: Using your partners' instructions, try to hit that target you can't see.
Tipi building: Participants will have to build a tipi after going through various stages.
Basketball course: In a relay, complete the course in a wheelchair and score 10 baskets before the opposing team.
Giant Pictionary: Make your partners guess as many words as possible by drawing them without sight or hands.
Mimereaction: Make your partners guess as many words as possible by miming.
Architect's challenge: Wearing boxing gloves, build a tower with wooden blocks of different sizes.
Bowling: Try to beat the opposing team by lacing the ball sightlessly or with your left hand.
Knot-tying challenge: Using just one hand, tie 6 knots before the opposing team.
Go-kart race: In relays, let your team-mates guide you as you complete the circuit in a pedal go-kart as quickly as possible.
Discus throw: Throw discs as close as possible to the target, guided only by your team-mates.
Communication test: Each team-mate, guided by the captain's voice, goes in search of the opposing team's scarves.
Objectives: cohesion, corporate culture, challenge.
