An original format that raises awareness of disability in a positive way, while stimulating team spirit and solidarity. It's the perfect opportunity to unite your employees around an intense sporting challenge, in a friendly, high-energy atmosphere.

What is quad rugby?

Quad rugby, also known as armchair rugby, is a handisport derived from XV rugby, ice hockey and basketball, played in a wheelchair by physically disabled players with upper and lower limb injuries. This Paralympic discipline combines strategy, speed and team spirit. Unlike a simple "adapted" version of rugby, it is a sport in its own right, with its own rules, rhythm and intensity.

Participants play in reinforced sports wheelchairs, designed for contact and impact, and use a volleyball. The objective? Score tries by crossing the opponent's end line, while dodging opponents or blocking their movements. Passing the ball, tactical moves and communication are essential to win.

This immersion allows everyone to step out of their comfort zone and experience, for the duration of a match, the physical and mental reality of a demanding sport... but accessible to all.

Why choose a rugby quad team building?

More than just a fun, sporting activity, quad rugby team building enables you to work on powerful corporate objectives:

  • Valuing inclusion: by experimenting with a sport designed for people with disabilities, participants develop a better understanding of diversity issues.

  • Enhancing mental agility: with reduced mobility, teams need to redouble their strategy, organization and coordination.

  • Create a strong, unifying memory: this original, emotionally-charged activity leaves a lasting impression.
