2:30 pm: You'll join the quayside for a cruise around the basin, where you'll catch a glimpse of Ile aux Oiseaux, the Cabanes Tchanquées, the oyster beds (at low tide), the Cap Ferret peninsula, the fishing villages, the Dune du Pilat, the Banc d'Arguin, the Littoral du Pyla and the Arcachon seafront. On this cruise, you'll stop off at the oyster-farming village of Le Canon for an oyster tasting. You'll embark with an oyster farmer to experience his life for the duration of a tide, before heading back to Arcachon for the end of the cruise.
